After spending a week as a toy, Tony was,just going to employ a little self care.

Which amounted to letting the dog sleep in his lap as he enjoyed coffee and a donut. As far from the armor as he could be after spending so much time in it.

Oh, and watching the backlog of adorable videos Jan had sent him. Again, because self care.

Tony hummed, putting his weight into keeping Steve's shoulders pinned against the bed. They'd kept to their promise of talking things through before sublimating with sex, right? Right.

Steve sighed happily and relaxed into the bed. "Like that, please," he murmured.

And they were always a little less guarded afterwards! That was what Steve was telling himself.

"I am going to melt your brain," Tony promised, nipping and kissing a line down Steve's throat.

"You always do," Steve said with a tiny smile.

"Now I have to make it spectacular," Tony replied. Because not just Steve was bad at backing down from a challenge.

Steve arched up into Tony's mouth with a happy little moan. "Yes, please."

Tony smiled as he moved down Steve's body slowly. "You are absolutely sinful looking."

Steve blushed all the way down.

"Helps that my pants come off again."

"That's helpful," he agreed, kissing low on Steve's stomach.

Steve shivered and slid his fingers into Tony's hair, pulling gently. "I love you."

It seemed very imporant to keep saying that today.

It was! Because they were both just constantly hungry for reassurance.

"Bet you say that to all the boys," Tony teased, softening it with a happy little sigh.
