Stark Industries, Thursday

Well, it was that time of year again. No, not the type where something wicked this way comes.

The holiday type!

Which would be why Tony was sending out an email invite to a party this weekend.

Come celebrate the holidays and the end of the school year!
Bring cookies and good cheer.


There, that was set and would totally not get interrupted by the island again. Tony took a sip of his coffee and rubbed his forehead as a strange headache started just behind his eyes.

And today had been so promising.

Steve pursed his lips, getting a bit frustrated. "Yeah, you need something to bring your blood sugar up. You're hangry today."

Steve gave him a little, disapproving frown as he headed to the kitchen. "You're welcome, Tony."

He meant... something? It was all very fuzzy and basically you were only worth what he could do to you for some... plan. He hadn't gotten all the pieces of yet.

Tony waved dismissively, turning back to a work screen, coffee completely forgotten.

Well, if the coffee was forgotten, this was an actual problem.

Steve returned, noticed the mug with a frown, and set the sandwich down. "Please eat," he said, a slight note of Captain-level annoyance in his voice.

HE HAD EVIL ENERGY NOW. CAFFEINE WASN'T NECESSARY.

"I will, I will," he muttered, focus entirely on something that might help with a certan ritual, but looked more complicated than anything a layman would be able to figure out.
